In this final part of the "now what?" series, Kylene and Patrick discuss what steps a coupleship can take when moving towards recovery or reconciliation after betrayal.
This includes, establishing safety, increasing and improving communication, engaging in the tools we have covered in the past 3 episodes, and giving it the time needed. Healing takes time, and the brain and nervous system need time to pass to believe that safety is real.

Today’s episode kicks off our 3-part “Now What?!” series, starting with the addict: You’ve been discovered. You’ve been found out. Now what do you do?
In this episode, we walk through tangible first steps—who to connect with, how to begin your sobriety journey, and why facing the hard things head-on is essential for long-term healing and health.
We also explore early relational dynamics. If you’re entering recovery while hoping to repair a relationship, there are key mindsets and behaviors that can either build trust—or further damage it. We break down what truly supports healing in these early stages.
Recovery is possible. And in this episode, we share the steps that those who find lasting recovery consistently take.
